1. ONLINE SAFETY

  • Never share your home address, workplace, or financial information in your profile
  • Be cautious sharing personal contact information until trust is established
  • Report suspicious behavior immediately using the Report function
  • No legitimate member will ask you for money or financial assistance
  • Be alert to romance scams — users who quickly profess strong feelings and then request money

2. EXPLICIT CONTENT SAFETY

ONCE YOU UPLOAD EXPLICIT IMAGES, YOU CANNOT CONTROL WHAT MEMBERS DO WITH THEM. THE COMPANY CANNOT PREVENT SCREENSHOTTING.

  • Consider whether you are comfortable with all approved members seeing your explicit photos
  • Consider whether your face, distinguishing tattoos, or other identifying features are visible — you may wish to crop or blur these for privacy
  • Understand that explicit images you upload may be seen by members you later have conflict with
  • Do not upload explicit images while under pressure from another person
  • You may delete your explicit images from your profile at any time
  • Redistribution of your images by other members without your consent may violate state non-consensual pornography laws — report to local law enforcement and contact legal@westcoastswingers.com

3. IN-PERSON MEETING SAFETY

  • Meet in a public location for your first meeting
  • Tell a trusted person where you are going and when to expect you back
  • Arrange your own transportation initially
  • Keep your phone charged
  • Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, leave
  • Have an exit plan and a code word with a trusted contact

4. SEXUAL HEALTH

  • Practice safe sex and use appropriate protection
  • Get tested regularly for sexually transmitted infections
  • Communicate openly with partners about sexual health
